From One Mare to a Dream: Building the OLT Farm 🐎

There’s something powerful about watching a process done properly—slowly, carefully, and with attention to every detail.

In this video, BD prepares a mare for a ride. He brushes her coat, cleans her hooves, cares for her tail, sprays fly protection, and fits the saddle and pad. Each step is simple on its own, but together they reflect something much deeper: responsibility, patience, and respect for the animal in front of him.

Right now, this is happening in a rented space with just one horse.

It works—but it’s not the vision.

The dream is to build the OLT Farm.

A permanent home where we can care for and work with many more horses. A place where young people can learn not only riding skills, but discipline, leadership, responsibility, and connection to something real and living.

At the end of the video, BD says it simply: “This is a rented space with one mare. The dream is to own many more horses on our OLT Farm.”

That sentence captures exactly where we are.

We are at the beginning of something we believe can grow into a meaningful, lasting space—but we cannot build it alone.

We are currently looking for support from individuals who believe in this vision and want to be part of making it happen. Every contribution—big or small—brings us closer to creating a permanent home for OLT and the horses that will be part of it.

This is not just about horses. It’s about building an environment where young people can grow through challenge, responsibility, and real-world experience.

More videos will follow as we continue to share the journey, the vision, and why now is the time to build the OLT Farm.

If you have the means and would like to be part of this, please be in touch.
